Although there are many determinants of facial beauty, probably no single feature is more important than size and shape of the nose. Just millimeters of adjustment to the nasal silhouette can significantly beautify a face. For women, the most common adjustment is lowering a small bump on top of the nose, narrowing the bridge of the nose, and refining the tip to be smaller, slightly raised, and delicate appearing. This helps the eyes seem larger and more radiant. For men, a strong, straight nose with an angular well defined tip is usually the goal. Ethnic differences are important in planning, as well as the unique desire of each individual. This is discussed in consultation. We do not computerize your image at Feel Beautiful, because the final result rarely matches the computer image. Recovery is brief, but the final result develops over months as swelling slowly resolves.
